Meet Sewell & Son’s
Raised in Columbus, Ohio Roy Sewell III grew up surrounded by the trucking industry. His father an over the road truck driver and mother an accountant at UPS. Obtaining his class A - CDL License at the age of 21, Roy decided to follow in his father’s footsteps driving trucks coast to coast. He began his career hauling general freight. Purchasing his own semi-truck at the age of 23 Roy made the decision to enter into the car transport industry. Hauling cars enclosed door to door for 6 years and after driving over 1 million miles Roy decided to venture off and work behind the desk in the trucking industry.
It all begins with experience and drive. Recruited by another trucking company Roy relocated to Massachusetts. By the 2nd year of his employment Roy doubled the companies’ numbers using no additional funds achieving this with excellence, respect and quality performance. After working for a few companies in Massachusetts Roy decided to achieve his goal of opening his own business. With over 20 years of experience Roy wanted to provide nothing but the highest level of service to any and all customers.
Having a goal. Maybe you want to launch a business. The main reason for starting his own business was not for himself but for his 3 boys. Mr. Sewell named his first son Roy after himself to carry on the tradition. The youngest are twin boys Louis & Frederick. Nothing means more than spending time, coaching and playing with his boys every chance he has.
